The bench reminds me of the time i was in Haifa. I was looking for a shop to buy some film, this elderly man was sitting on a bench, not unlike this on. I stopped to ask directions and when all was said and done I chatted with that man for two hours about Israel, Haifa and current events. It was one of the highlights of my 3 day stay.
Interesting emblem on the bench but I have to say I'm not keen on metal seats - they tend to be too cold in winter and too hot in summer to sit on comfortably.
Not an image you see everyday. I can't think off hand of another bench with imagery such as this.
