What was left of the old building. I can't quite decide if it was a mark of respect for the ancient building, or a -bad- joke. On yesterday's picture, this entrance is shown at the upper-left corner of the photo exhibit on the wall.

Not so old, not so new
Jerusalem - downtown, more or less, near the open-air market Machane Yehuda, a parking lot. An old building and on the side, pictures of the professional school of the Alliance Israélite Universelle. In the background, the building which was contructed in place of the school.

Working on the tramway
The main street of Jerusalem is under construction from last august, and there are no signs the situation will improve in the near future. I really can't understand the purpose of the big, ugly wall being erected on the other side of the street in front of the existing buildings.
